Gentle nerdery
An interesting article. True… although not all of it has been my experience. π
Many interesting things have happened in the last 24 hours.
1. I sent off my Official Warranty-Covered HP Laptop to tech support at HP. Mailboxes Etc, high prices and fairly reliable service are thy hallmark. You may ask how I am accomplishing a webpage (and non-studying for Chemistry) without a laptop… I kept the hard drive and put it into an identical but un-covered laptop. π Thank you Kevin and Steven! *bows head in gratitude*
2. Attended the Davis City Council meeting. I figure you all know already that I attend UC Davis, so it doesn’t matter that you know I attended the council meeting. You’d assume that going to UCD would entail me being somewhat aware of the existence of the alleged City of Davis. Although with the public speaking skills of these folk… *groan* Robert’s Rules of Order do have some purpose, after all.
3. Studied for mythology, slept, woke up, went to chem discussion, studied some more for myths, took midterm in 20 minutes (including sitting down, waiting for my copy to arrive at my seat, and getting the pencil all situated), wasted the rest of the extra hour and ten minutes by reading chemistry, ate lunch, went to chem lab. Gotta love the daily grind of classwork.
4. Fed the ducks with Steven. He also brought a camera (ewww not like that) and we took some fun photos around campus. In public places, and no, we didn’t get arrested. You have sick minds.
5. Came home, and found a blog site with Tristan’s help. π
And now I will let you go back to your real life, and not be distracted by my non-studying for chemistry. It goes in one eye and out the other. Doesn’t do much good while in there, either.
For now…
