First of many?
Tristan is the buddy who pointed me to this weblog service. One of my oldest and most compatible friends … there’s always something to talk about!
Today was a long day. The interview seemed to go well, and Dr. Cardona said she’d call me or email me on Monday after meeting with the other interested students. She’s really nice — I’m glad I met her even if it doesn’t lead to a job. She is offering either pay or units, and if I get involved, I chose pay. Since I came in with 32 AP units, and I’m in a unit-devouring major, I can’t afford to spend units on things not directly related to my major. Especially if I can get some spending money instead! At least she did say that she’d keep my name on the list even if she doesn’t hire me this time around. There’s always something going on here at Davis!
I’m feeling good. Current mood… excited about the choir concert! Steven’s picking me up in about 15 minutes, so I have to dash off to get all prettified!
