Peep peep peep

For now the duckling is gone. I hope its mother heard it and came, and that the rats didn’t eat it. There are lots of rats in Davis. They are everywhere. Icky rats. In the Arboretum, in the undergrowth, everywhere.

poor little duckling. It was cute too!

Maybe we will hear it again.
