About time … it's been a while since we had some decent protests.

CNN.com – Nearly 100 same-sex couples marry in San Francisco – Feb. 13, 2004

I see no problem with same-sex marriage. The relationship between two people is going to remain, no matter what the legislative and religious folk want. It’s not going to stop when marriage is denied. Of all the fights in the world, this is one of the most irritating.

How about poverty, and war, and corporate greed, and incompetent politicians? How about student violence? Abuse?

There are more important things to worry about than whether marriage is being harmed by homosexuality. It’s not. Marriage is what you make of it.

I don’t think voodoo really works. Likewise with making marijuana and gay marriage illegal.

If it’s legal, you can regulate it. You can ensure that the prostitutes get tested, that the marijuana is pure, that the married couples (regardless of sex) are paying their taxes properly. That the painkillers are cheap and the elderly get their medications.

I’m sick of double standards. Equal rights, equal representation.
