I hate goodbyes. Even worse, I hate anticipating them. Ugh.

Conferences are what I imagine one-night stands to be… a few hours or days of close relationships, experiencing things together, then morning comes and it’s farewell… and you don’t know if you’ll see these new friends again. Ever.

It’s so hard. I hate it. But it’s bittersweet – the experiences change you and you become a better person for it all. *sigh*
