Otospermophilus beecheyi
Right-o. My dad would be proud of me.
For my first writing assignment of the new quarter, I was asked to compile a brief (think, less than page) species profile for NAC 100. Naturally I chose the majestic California Ground Squirrel, of which there is an abundance in Ojai.
Alas, I failed to relate the description of the two-legged variety, of which there will be an abundance at this year’s WEF. Common descriptors of this variety include epithets such as “hippy” or “crazy” – and of course there are none of these in the NAC program. None whaaaaatsoeeeeever.
😀
And now to sleep. Or maybe read. Something like that.
